“No stupid handshakes, just business” – Soon-to-be old teammate on Man Utd target Aaron Wan-Bissaka

“No stupid handshakes, just business” – Soon-to-be old teammate on Man Utd target Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Last month Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was insistent on wrapping up his transfer plans before the beginning of July, and especially prior to leaving for Australia in their pre-season tour.

The Norwegian boss has been hell bent on snapping up the Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka who is considered to be one of the hottest prospects in English football.

The Red Devils expects to secure the signature of Wan-Bissaka for £50m, who happens to have completed his medical at Manchester United earlier today (Daily Mail).

His Selhurst Park team teammate and the ex United winger Wilfried Zaha seem to have been very impressed by the young full back.

A footage of Zaha speaking on the Eagles’ official YouTube channel has emerged between this reported transfer agreement and it will delight the United supporters.

Unless you speak to him, he will not say a word. In the changing room, he’s quiet. But he doesn’t speak on the pitch really. That’s why everyone likes him. He doesn’t chirp up much

He also encouragingly stated that Wan-Bissaka has an amazing personality who does much of his talking on the pitch and is very easy to get along with.

Who is Crystal Palace Player of the Season Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The Crystal Palace right-back leads most defensive stats following a superb campaign in England’s top flight.

Wan-Bissaka was above anyone in the league when it comes to most clearances, most tackles won, most take-ons completed, most interceptions and also possessed the highest tackle success rate (Statman Dave).

A whirlwind of a campaign in South East London won him Palace’s Player of the Season award.

The U-21 English international appears to prioritise his defensive work over flying down the wing like every other modern full back does, which will indeed invigorate the Manchester United’s deformed backline.

He would be a breath of fresh air for United fans and can have an exceptional future at Old Trafford.

The price up front might seem costly, but if he fulfills his true potential and remains with the Red Devils for years to come, Wan-Bissaka will be well worth the money.
