Manchester United’s season has been a classical case of two steps forward and one step back this year.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was heralded as a tactical genius by all after overseeing double victories over Mourinho’s Tottenham and local rivals Manchester City at the start of the month, his United side somewhat stumbled against Everton before going outright missing during the 2-0 loss to Watford yesterday.

While pundits have been picking their brains out in studios trying to figure out where it went wrong for the home side at Old Trafford, Solskjaer came up with the most bizarre reason for United’s defeat to the team struggling at the bottom of the Premier League.

While United fans are no strangers to hearing strange excuses from their managers in the past after defeats (remember those times under Louis van Gaal and Mourinho United fans ?), they still should be shocked to hear the club legend bizarrely stating that the traffic had a role to play during his side’s defeat.
