Liverpool made their stance clear as the players kneeled in support of the current protests sweeping the United States

The US has been in a constant state of unrest after a video of Mr George Floyd being pinned down by his neck by a Minneapolis police officer went viral.

Mr. Floyd was repeatedly heard saying that he could not breathe and eventually died.

From a pure footbaling point of view, the photo also shows that Liverpool were training at Anfield rather than Melwood and some of the players were kitted out in their home third kits for this season.
