Arsenal are all set for a major reshuffle in their backroom staff.
David Ornstein revealed today that Chris Morgan, head of Arsenal’s physiotherapy department, has agreed to return to his former club Liverpool.
The Reds also tried to poach doctor Gary O’Driscoll from the London club earlier in the season. However, Arsenal fended off their interest at that time.
The Gunners did not find themselves as lucky this time around with Morgan opting for a switch back to Merseyside after spending two years at the Emirates.
The void left by the absence of Morgan’s knowledge and years of experience would be tough to compensate for Arsenal.
Considering the recent injury problems in Mikel Arteta’s squad, the significance of the position has further magnified.
However, as far as recent rumours are concerned, the Gunners might have found a perfect fit already.
Brazilian physiotherapist Bruno Mazziotti is reported to be the prime candidate to take over Morgan’s position.
One might be deceived into doubting the 42-year-old’s credentials given his non-football background.
But, his work in the field is highly appreciated in the football world.
His time as a physio at Corinthians, SD Luneng, and most recently, Paris Saint Germain has earned him the necessary experience and due praise to warrant Arsenal’s trust in him.
As with every other rumour, Mazziotti’s possible arrival has the Arsenal faithful talking on Twitter –
Black 3 quarter shorts with crew socks. Proper physio attire if you ask me.

Some even compared the Brazilian’s physique to that of a UFC fighter –
The new @Arsenal physio looks like a UFC fighter. People that know his work and career say he is excellent at his job. Good appointment. pic.twitter.com/iwWmtb33H5

I don't think anyone will mess with him 😳🤣 pic.twitter.com/yXs13dwT49
If anything, Bruno Mazziotti’s stature is a testament to his work and would be a significant asset to Mikel Arteta’s side, especially considering their current situation.
