Jose Mourinho arrived at Tottenham as one of the most polarising personalities in English football.

The move came as a surprise to many since it was clear that with Daniel Levy in charge, the former Manchester United boss will not be able to spend as freely as he has been at his previous clubs.

With the situation tumbling down at the club after a horrific start to the season, questions arose over whether the duo could work in harmony and steady the drowning ship at Spurs.

The doubts surmounted even more after possible talks with PSG’s Thomas Meunier broke down because of a difference in opinion between the Portuguese manager and Spurs Chairman.
