Celtic star Jeremie Frimpong nutmegs most valuable football player in the world during PSG friendly

Celtic and PSG contested in a friendly yesterday at the home ground of Les Parisiens, Parc des Princes. The Parisians ran out comfortable 4-0 winners, thanks to solitary goals from Kylian Mbappe and Pablo Sarabia and a brace from Neymar.

The Scottish outfit were fairly comfortably dispatched by Neymar and co., but there was one moment of absolute joy for the Bhoys when the most valuable player in the world right now was nutmegged by Scottish Premiership side’s young rising star, the 19-year-old right-back Jeremie Frimpong.

Frimpong nutmegged French star Kylian Mbappe when the scoreline was still at 1-0. Given the fact that the Frenchman is valued highest among all other players, Twitter was impressed by the piece of skill the Dutch youngster produced.

Check it out below –

Frimpong joined Premier League side Manchester City at the age of 9 and was part of the club’s youth system until he decided to join Celtic on a four-year deal in 2019.

He has also represented Netherlands at under-20 level. Still relatively young, Frimpong is a talented full back and his skill on the World Cup winner certainly demonstrates his confidence going forward.

Even though they lost, Celtic players and staff would have loved the experience of plying their trade against a PSG side brimming with world class international players.

Both the teams are preparing for the upcoming competitive fixtures in the month of August. While the Scottish league for 2020-2021 season is set to begin on the 1st of August, Paris Saint-Germain are warming up for the blockbuster Champions League quarter final tie against Italian outfit Atalanta.

Ligue 1 was cancelled on April 30 because of the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic in France and PSG were declared champions. Likewise, the Scottish football season was also cancelled with Celtic as champions of the country.
