Bayern have decided internally that Thiago Alcantara will be allowed to leave with an offer of at least €30m
The 29-year-old Bayern star is said to be looking for a new experience outside Germany and has refused to extend his contract with the Bavarians.
Bayern’s CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge testified to the ongoing rumours with his statement a few weeks ago, “Thiago is a great guy, on and off the pitch. We were negotiating seriously with him, and we complied with everything he asked, but it seems that he is looking to do something new in the final part of his career.”
Liverpool have found themselves extensively linked with the Spain international. Jürgen Klopp was highly appreciative of Thiago’s attributes; however, the Liverpool boss has opted to remain tight-lipped over the talks of a potential transfer.
Bayern haven’t received an official bid from Liverpool yet, but things might change soon as the German club have now put a price tag to acquire the services of the former Barcelona star.
According to Bild journalist Christian Falk, a potential deal could be struck with the German giants if a club offers at least 30m Euros for the player.

Thiago still has a year remaining on his contract, but Bayern are adamant that they won’t let the player leave for free.
Although the Reds have been taking a careful approach in the upcoming transfer market, 30m euros might prove to be a bargain for a player of Thiago’s credentials.
