Messi fan in full Tottenham kit seen protesting against Barcelona board outside Camp Nou
La Liga giants Barcelona are facing one of the biggest crisis the club has ever seen as Lionel Messi has asked the board to let him leave for free this summer.
Perhaps the greatest footballer of our lifetime, Messi officially sent a fax to the Barca board yesterday and lined out his intentions to leave his boyhood club.
Barcelona fans soon gathered outside the Camp Nou offices to demand the resignation of president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
What caught a lot of Premier League fans’ eyes though was the fact that someone rocked up to the protests in a counterfeit Tottenham Hotspur jersey.
The fan was seen wearing the knockoff version of Spurs’ 2018/19 home kit outside the iconic stadium last evening.
Not sure why and it’s rather hard to explain but a lot of fans on the internet found the appearance of a Spurs kit during Barca protests very bemusing. Check out the reaction below –
