Leicester City started their game against Arsenal on Sunday with no recognised striker as Jamie Vardy was left on the bench after recovering from his injury.
Fans couldn’t help but notice the shin pads he was holding as the camera panned toward Vardy taking his place on the bench.
The protective gear had his famous quote ‘chat sh*t get banged’ written on them.
The quote went viral among football fans during Leicester City’s shock title-winning season and since then, the striker has even attempted to trademark the same for business purposes.
The now-infamous quote originated on Facebook in 2011 when he was playing in the Conference with Fleetwood Town.
