Abramovich pursues Haaland

Abramovich became revolutionary in terms of football ownerships when he took over Chelsea in 2006. The Russian billionaire was one of the first of its kind and soon became a known figure among fans.

Chelsea have gone from being a mid-table Premier League team to become a Europen giant under the ownership of Abramovich, having won a collective of 17 major trophies.

The billionaire has always been a key figure in hiring and sacking managers along with player transfers. Recently Roman Abramovich is said to have shown keen interest in Golden Boy winner Erling Haaland.

Whether Chelsea gets their man despite many top-level clubs wanting the Norwegian striker’s signature remains to be seen.

Abramovich will do everything in his power to make it happen if the rumours are indeed true as the Chelsea owner more often than not gets things he desires done for his beloved club.
