Quite luckily for the Barca star, the rebound landed back on his feet, albeit at a very tight angle. Messi then showed his magic as he went on to score Barcelona’s third goal against Getafe.
It was his second goal of the night after converting a delicious through ball from Sergio Busquets to make it 1-0 in the 8th minute.
Despite what the scoreline suggests, Barcelona were sluggish for many parts of the game but it was a vintage performance from La Pulga nonetheless as he scored two goals and provided an assist during the 5-2 win at Camp Nou.
