Luis Suarez celebrating after scoring a goal against Osasuna

Luis Suarez drove low and towards the bottom left corner of Sergio Herrera’s goal in the 88th minute as Atletico Madrid accomplished a late comeback win to go back at the top of the points table.

There’s just one game remaining in La Liga and it’s Atletico’s title to lose, courtesy of the effort from the former Liverpool and Barcelona striker at the Wanda Metropolitano last night.

It was a now-or-never moment for Diego Simeone’s side as the scoreline read 1-1 and they risked losing their edge in a hotly contested title race against Real Madrid, who had won their game against Athletic Bilbao.

As luck would have it, Atletico went on to win the game as Luiz Suarez switched the play to the right and then finished off the move after some brilliant work by Kieran Trippier and Yannick Carrasco.
