Roy Keane had a little whinge about Jordan Henderson’s inclusion in England’s Euro squad as the Manchester United legend picked on the semi-fit Liverpool star ahead of the warmup fixture against Romania.
Jordan Henderson made his first appearance since injuring his groin during the Merseyside derby on 20th February. The England captain came on for the second half at the Riverside Stadium as he played his first game for three and a half months.
It is just a week before England start their campaign at Wembley against Croatia as their captain goes into the tournament having played just one half of a friendly game.
While doing pre-match punditry work for ITV, Keane delivered his blunt opinion on the matter as he said, “clearly Jordan’s not fit – I don’t think he should be involved… I’ve heard people say they want him around the place – for what? Does he do card tricks? Does he have a sing-song? Does he do quizzes in the evenings?”
