Lionel Messi poked borax at former teammate Yerry Mina and challenged him to ‘dance again’ after the Colombian defender had missed his penalty during the shootout loss against Argentina.
The Barcelona talisman was of course making a reference to the Everton defender’s little jig he did after scoring a penalty during Colombia’s quarterfinal win against Uruguay a few days ago.
Los Cafeteros won that encounter but had no such luck in the semis as Lionel Messi & co. booked a final date with Brazil after winning the penalty shootout 3-2 at the Arena Mane Garrincha in Brasilia.
Emi Martinez came up clutch when it mattered most as he made three heroic saves to put his side through. The Aston Villa goalkeeper was also instrumental in getting inside Mina’s head before the penalty.
