Memphis Depay scored his second goal in as many pre-season games as Barcelona took the lead in a fashionable way during their friendly against Vfb Stuttgart.
The new signing was at his skilful best as he connected with Frenkie De Jong’s long ball with aplomb in the first half at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
It might just be a pre-season encounter but take nothing away from Depay’s effort as he timed his run to perfection to gather his compatriot’s lofted pass. His first touch was class, the second touch was even better and the finish was sublime.
