Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting celebrates scoring Bayern Munich's first goal against Bremer SV

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting turned up with a seven-goal contribution display as the former Stoke City star scored four and provided three assists in Bayern Munich’s 12-0 thumping of Bremer SV in DFB Pokal.

Robert Lewandowski wasn’t playing but that didn’t stop Die Rotten from dismantling their fifth-tier opponents, as Jamal Musiala (brace), Malik Tillman, Leroy Sane, Michael Cuisance, Bouna Sarr and Corentin Tolisso added to Choupo-Moting’s quartet of goals besides an own goal from Bremer’s Jan-Luca Warm.

For context, last season Bayern finished 1st in the Bundesliga while Bremer SV finished 2nd in Oberliga Bremen, meaning they had 75 places between them.
