Naby Keita is back in training with the first-team squad after being stretched off in Liverpool’s 5-0 demolishing of Manchester United.
The 26-year-old Guinean midfielder has been a crucial player for Liverpool so far this season and has proved to be one of their most influential players.
The former RB Leipzig layer played an important role in the rout at Old Trafford, scoring the first goal in the 5th minute.
Though it looked like that his season might have come to an early end after Paul Pogba sent the Liverpool man flying with a crunching tackle in the second half.
The Frenchman was shown a straight red card following a VAR review for his tackle on Keita, who left the pitch on a stretcher.
But now, after recovering faster than expected, Keita is ready to play football again.
As fate would have it, Keita will be back for Liverpool for their next game in the Premier League, but the same can’t be said for Pogba.
