Alphonso Davies went wild on Twitch after Canada scored their second goal against USMNT

In the latest round of World Cup qualifiers, the CONCACAF region saw an exciting top of the table clash between the USA and Canada.

So far, the qualifiers have gone smoothly for the Canadians and before the game they found themselves sitting at the top, and a win would cement that further.

In the end, Canada triumphed over the Americans in a 2-0 win, courtesy of goals from Larin and Adekugbe.

Cheering on the side were of course their fellow Canucks and also teammate Alphonso Davies.

The Bavarian fullback finds himself sidelined after being diagnosed with mild myocarditis and is currently on road to recovery.

He’s used his time off the pitch showing almost cheerleader-like support for his international teammates.

The 21-year-old called upon all football fans to join him via a Twitch stream for a watch along of Canada’s qualifier against Honduras.

He did so again for the game against the United States and provided fans with a very candid celebration.

Watching along with his father, Davies jumped up in ecstasy and expressed just how happy he was after Sam Adekugbe’s stoppage-time winner.

His father didn’t hold back as well and even brought out a dance move towards the end.

While his mercurial talents are surely missed on the pitch, Davies has left no stone unturned in making sure his presence is felt off it.

Canada has now gained a 4 point lead over the USMNT and are looking secure on their way to earn World Cup qualification for the first time since 1986.
