Tottenham fan Emma Raducanu brings her club colours to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix

We’ve seen plenty of F1 x Football and NBA x Football crossovers, and it’s about time fans received something different. And thankfully, we have, in the form of a rare Tennis x Football crossover.

Many popular tennis players are known to be avid football fans, the likes of Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray, and Roger Federer spring to mind.

Joining this list is Women’s tennis star Emma Raducanu.

The 19-year-old tennis sensation from Bromley is currently the British No. 1 and has also achieved a career-high ranking of No 12 by the WTA.

Fun fact, she’s a Spurs fan.

After famously winning the US Open back in 2021, she even received a congratulatory tweet from Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane. The English international wrote, “Amazing achievement @EmmaRaducanu. Done yourself and the whole country proud. Congratulations!”

Currently preparing for the Stuttgart Open, which begins on April 18, she put her Spurs fandom on display for everyone to see during a warm-up session. She donned on a custom Spurs jersey at the Day 1 practice of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, which read ‘Raducanu, 10’ on the back

Her beloved club also loved the sights of her wearing the 21/22 home kit by Nike, and they responded to the clip on Twitter by saying, “things you love to see”

Seeing an athlete represent their club at such a stage certainly carries weight, and we’d love to see other cases pop up. It also is a fantastic way of announcing who your favourite club is.
