James Maddison has been enjoying a flying start to his career at Spurs. While speaking about his initial time at the club with The Independent, Maddison rather strangely boasted about how he enjoys being the center of attention at every dinner table restaurant outings with his family.
While this might not reach the heights of Arteta saying how he conquered his wife, the way Madders phrased his perspective was unusual, to put it mildly.
He was quoted as saying, “It’s not a conscious effort to try and be the showman. That’s just how I play football. That’s just how I am as a person, when I go for a roast dinner with my family, I like to be the main man.”
While Maddison seemingly might have said this in passing to reflect on his attitude in life and sports.
