As Liverpool Football Club prepares to enter a new chapter with Adidas, the anticipation for their 2025-2026 kit has reached fever pitch.
@fumlerRAWK, who has been a reliable source for a decade for Liverpool’s kit design, have leaked early glimpses of the designs, colours, and emblems that will adorn the Reds’ jerseys for the 2025-2026 season.
Standard Chartered will remain the shirt sponsor until 2027. @fumlerRawk has predicted that there will be three different crests in three different kits.
The Home Kit: A Bold Red Return
The home kit maintains the traditional red hue that has been synonymous with Liverpool for generations. Adidas is expected to utilise the dark hues of red; the last time Liverpool used dark and heavy hues of red was back in 19-20.
The red colour will be detailed with white linings, and there’s a notable departure from the current design.
Instead of the yellow club crest, the 2025-2026 home kit will feature white emblems, restoring a classic look. The sleeve cuffs are complimented by black lining in white colours. Adidas is expected to utilize the Tiro 25 design template, a standard base for their 2025 season kits.
The Away Kit: A Fresh Take on Ecru
The away kit offers a refreshing change with an ecru or off-white base colour accented by red lining. The Liver Bird emblem takes the limelight, boasting a retro-inspired design that sets it apart from previous iterations.
The white Liver Bird appears to be enclosed within a dark red shield, adding a unique touch. The standard charter will complement the red colour on the dominant white colour. The sleeve cuffs remain white in colour, adding further minimalism to its design.
Fans were quick to react, emphasising that the badge reminds them of a modern-day version of 1950s kit design.
The Third Kit: A Mint Green Nostalgia
The third kit for the 2025-2026 season is a striking mint green, officially dubbed “Sea Green.” A touch of black lining on the sleeve cuffs of the jersey could be observed. The mint colour choice is a nostalgic nod to the club’s history, harkening back to the period when Adidas last supplied Liverpool’s shirts 1987-1992.
To further enhance the retro feel, the jersey will feature the iconic Trefoil logo and the classic Liverpool crest from the 90s. The liver Bird emblem is coordinated in dominant colours, while the shield is transparent due to its light and minimalistic design.
The detailing of the jersey remains in white with the sponsors Standard Chartered expected to be in the same colour as well.
@fumlerRawk has noted that although the design, colours and crests are expected to be the same as the first look, fans should expect certain changes and alterations in its final product.
The home kit is expected to go through further changes in terms of design; meanwhile, there are no design changes expected in the away and third kit.
Liverpool’s contract with Nike is subject to end on June 30th 2025. The new Adidas kit is set for launch on 1st July 2025. The Home kit is the first to hit the stores. The away kit is expected to enter in the market in late July or early August, while the third is expected to come out in early September.
