What we know for a fact that is that it cannot be Fenerbahce’s results as they sit second in the Turkish Premier League and are in the playoff spots in the Europa League. Unlike his old rival Guardiola, who’s had his struggles with his head and City’s form Mourinho’s look is most likely just an accident.
The image drew hilarious comparisons on social media, with fans pulling things from the internet that looked similar to Mourinho in that instance.
One fan drew a parallel to Creed Bratton from The Office, posting a picture of the eccentric character with his hair messily spiked upward.
Another user compared the Fenerbahce boss to a cockatiel, noting the striking similarity between Mourinho’s unintentional mohawk and the bird’s signature yellow-grey crest that also looks like a mohawk.
After seeing the condition of Jose’s hair, some users said this was the reason he took up a managerial role in Turkey, hinting at an easy hair transplant, which Turkey is famous for.
