New Report Signals Mohamed Salah’s Continued Dedication to Liverpool and Not Saudi Deals (For Now)

Liverpool, Mohamed Salah

For Liverpool fans, this season has been nothing short of exceptional, and as things stand, Mohammed Salah remains fully committed to Liverpool and is not in negotiations with any club over a potential pre-contract agreement, according to Telefoot via GFFN. At 31, Salah shows no signs of slowing down, and the Kop is witnessing what could be his finest season yet.

Salah’s current contract runs until June 2025, and since arriving in 2017, he has established himself as one of the greatest players of all time. This season, Salah has scored 25 goals and provided 17 assists in the Premier League and is on course to break even more records. Last Summer, Al-Ittihad made a £150 million bid for the Egyptian which was rejected.

Salah New Contract?

Given his consistent form, interest from the Middle East isn’t expected to fade, with Liverpool fans pressuring officials to ‘give him the bag’. With Liverpool on track to win the Premier League and favorites for the Champions League, Salah has emerged as a strong contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Or perhaps this season could be the perfect fairytale ending, bringing him closer to a move to Saudi Arabia, where he speaks the language and is closer to home. Fans are hopeful that Salah will stay at Anfield, a place that has become his second home. Let’s not forget that Salah became the first player in Liverpool history to score at least 20 goals in all competitions for eight consecutive seasons, surpassing his previous record.
