The Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola had a ‘life outside the dugout moment,’ when he was spotted soaking in the musical nightlife with Oasis kids.
The Sky Blues finished 3rd in the 2024-25 table, behind Liverpool and Arsenal. Given the bar set by the Spanish tactician, their performance have been subpar.
However, this is a situation that the club hierarchy is actively addressing and so far has made multiple strides. As we are in the midst of the summer window, City have already acquired the services of Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, and Rayan Ait-Nouri. Moreover, Yan Couto and Marcus Bettinelli have also been introduced to revamp their squad ahead of the next season.
In addition to the club, Guardiola also had a fair share of personal problems this year. It was announced in early 2025 that the Man City manager and his wife, Cristina Serra, will file for divorce after being together for 30 years. The story took a different turn in late April when the reports suggested that the pair is ready to give their marriage a second chance.

It hasn’t been easy for the ex-Bayern Munich manager this season, both the inside and outside of the pitch. But, the Spaniard has been spending more time with family, with the 54-year-old’s appearance with the Oasis Kids along with her daughter being the latest one.
In an image shared by the Gallagher kids, Pep Guardiola is seen raising the glass with the group before being a marquee individual in Oasis’ reunion gig at Heaton Park. The Spanish manager was accompanied by Liam Gallagher’s two sons, Lennon and Gene. Noel’s three children, Anais, Sonny, and Donovan, were also there with the Man City boss.
The six-time Premier League winner was seen rocking the Manchester City 1970 Retro Jersey with Colin Bell’s no.8 at the back and the perfect denim shorts to complement the event of the evening.
In addition to that, Guardiola is also seen in a picture with Richard Ashcroft. The Spaniard was in all smiles with the lead singer and songwriter of the Verve. The 54-year-old was also seen in the background of the stage during the performance.
However, the moment of the evening is when Guardiola’s daughter, Maria Guardiola, took it to her personal Instagram to share a magical moment where the father and daughter were singing along together. The 24-year-old shared a precious moment with her father and shared it with her 912k followers.

Seeing the generational manager singing his heart out to the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ chorus with her daughter speaks volumes about how the Guardiola family has embraced the culture of Manchester.
The news has been received very well by the City fans, who took to their social media to share their positive opinions.
A Man City fan took it to X to share their amusement seeing Pep adorning the City kit, saying,
“Seeing Pep at an Oasis concert wearing a City shirt is not something I ever thought of seeing when he joined City. What a man!”
There were others who had a hard time believing the picture of Guardiola in the retro kit with the Oasis to be real in the first place.
But the biggest shoutout came from none other than Liam Gallagher, who said, ‘I’d like to dedicate this to the greatest f****** manager of all time’.

Since 2009, this was the first time that the band played at Heaton Park. All in all, the much-anticipated homecoming got even better and bigger with the appearance of Pep Guardiola and his eldest daughter, Maria Guardiola.
