Look: Pedro Neto’s Subtle Flex On Insta After Club World Cup Triumph

Chelsea, Pedro Neto

Pedro Neto moved from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Chelsea in the summer of 2024, signing a seven-year contract that many questioned at the time.

Five months later, those doubts have been silenced as the Londoners cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the inaugural Club World Cup.

The 25-year-old played an instrumental role in Chelsea’s successful 2024/25 campaign, contributing 9 goals and 9 assists across all competitions.

His ability to combine speed, control, and vision made him a perfect fit in Enzo Maresca’s system, often occupying the left flank with freedom to drift in. While his numbers might not scream “superstar”, his impact has been tangible.

Chelsea’s Club World Cup win was the latest milestone in Neto’s almost 12-month journey. But Neto’s trophy count doesn’t stop there.

Earlier in the 2024/25 season, he helped Chelsea lift the UEFA Super Cup, featuring in the 4-1 win over Real Betis in Wroclaw.

On the international stage, he was also part of the Portugal squad that won the UEFA Nations League in 2025.

That’s three trophies in less than a year — two with Chelsea and one with Portugal — and Pedro Neto chose an understated but effective way to let the world know.

The winger’s Instagram profile currently features three pinned posts at the top: one for each of the trophies.

How Pedro Neto’s Instagram account look like right now.

For a player who endured injury setbacks and frustrating spells at Wolves, this Instagram “flex” represents vindication of his decision to join Chelsea and proof that sometimes the biggest statements are made without saying a word at all.
