As the EA Sports FC meta constantly shifts with each new release, a new player has emerged as the community’s favourite Claudia Pina. The Spanish superstar, who stars for the powerhouse FC Barcelona Femení, has transcended her solid 86 overall rating in FC 26 to become one of the most talked about options in Ultimate Team.
Pros dropping 1M cards to use her at ST

Is she that good? 🤣 pic.twitter.com/0mIRMbtEJW
Her card is absolutely fit for this year’s gameplay. She can play at LW, LM and Striker which is where most pro players are using her. Her roles are Winger+ Inside forward+ Wide Playmaker++ and False 9+. She has 4 star skill moves and a 5 star weak foot. Her playstyles are also perfect, finesse shot, gamechanger, incisive pass, technical.
Pina’s signature appeal lies in her Low Driven Shot PlayStyle+. This enhanced ability significantly improves the accuracy, speed, and execution of low driven shots. Despite an initial concern among players that the low driven shot mechanic had been nerfed, Pina’s version of the PlayStyle+ allows her to consistently fire in powerful, precise shots from inside and around the box, making her a devastating finisher.
The early stages of FC 26 have emphasized tight left stick dribbling and quick turns to evade defenders, and Pina’s profile is tailor made for this. Standing at a modest 5’3, she has an inherently small and nimble body type that translates to incredibly responsive movement on the ball. Her dribbling stats, including 88 Dribbling and 84 Balance, make her a nightmare for defenders in close quarters.
No wonder she is extinct 😮

Her left stick dribbling is on another planet

The primary stat that gives players pause is her relatively low 79 Pace. However, the current defensive style and 90 depth meta, which sometimes favors controlled defensive jockeying over outright speed, mitigates this weakness, especially when Pina is used in a central role like a False 9 for which she has a + role.
This graph from Futbin demonstrates exactly what players have found, she was selling around 4.1K at the start of the game and has slowly been rising. Her card is so rare as well with so many players sniping her. Barcelona’s women team have great cards and having her helps her link with players such as Patri, Ona Battle and Hansen.

I just watched Pina go from 35k to 90k and down to 40k in the space of 30mins

Coin wipes and market bans are definitely incoming #FC26 https://t.co/OU2z6rLwvr
Some players have started to take advantage of this hype to boost their coins by the pump and dump method. As i mentioned earlier she was cheap as chips before the competitive player base found out about her. This has led many players who have taken advantage of this by selling her at insanely high prices, inflating her price by 20-30k counting on the FOMO of the playerbase.

Claudia Pina’s hype is a perfect storm of spectacular real world form leading to a useful overall card, combined with the game’s evolving mechanics that favor PlayStyles and intricate dribbling over raw pace. For Ultimate Team players, Pina has become an essential, meta defining gold card, proving that technical brilliance and key attributes can often trump a high overall rating.
