The Ultimate Gauntlet has returned Ultimate Team mode, challenging players to test the depth and flexibility of their squad with the latest iteration, Ultimate Gauntlet 2.
Unlike typical in game challenges, the Gauntlet mode imposes a unique squad restriction that forces managers to strategize with their entire club roster.
The Gauntlet is structured into 3 rounds, and once a player is used in a round (either in the starting XI or on the bench), they are locked out and cannot be used in any subsequent rounds of that specific Gauntlet entry.
This puts a premium on having a deep club with quality players across different leagues and nations. This event will last until 17th October and you have 2 entries per day.

The most sought-after prizes in Ultimate Gauntlet 2 are Evolution (Evo) consumables and a 84 rated Ratings Reload Diouf available for achieving a Perfect Round.
The event offers valuable Evo items, including: Tiki Taka+ (Applicable to players with a Max. 83 OVR and 0 PlayStyle+). CDM Deep Lying Playmaker++ (Applicable to CDM player items with a Max. 83 OVR).
You can earn various packs and other rewards for completing the following objectives in the Gauntlet mode:

If you win all 3 matches and have a perfect round you will earn yourself a 84 rated Ratings Reload Diouf card.
The Senegalese LB can also play at LM and has these roles Wingback+ (LB), Fullback++ (LB) and Wide Midfielder+ (LM).
He only has 4 playstyles with no playstyle + and a surprising omission from his card is the whipped pass playstyle.
He has decent stats for a LB, 85 pace, 75 Shooting, 76 passing, 80 dribbling, 82 defending, 84 physicality an all round good player.

However I don’t feel like he fits the meta currently and given how sweaty this mode is with some even saying it is worse than champs, it would not be the worst to miss out on him. However the packs are great and worth grinding for.
To ensure a level playing field, EA might need to implement overall limits on the squads used in Gauntlet mode.
Without such restrictions, players who spend more on packs inherently possess a superior pool of cards, giving them a significant competitive edge throughout the rounds.
The strict limit of two entries per day, combined with the event’s short duration, creates another major issue. For the next Gauntlet mode, EA must extend the event timeline and/or increase the daily entry limit to reduce player frustration.
