FC 26: FUT Champs Cheaters Exploit Putellas and Bellingham Pack — Here’s How to Avoid Them

Have you been on the receiving end of cheaters on FUT Champs recently? If so, then you are not alone because there’s a special event going on and the lure of the Putellas/Bellingham FUT Champs pack has been inviting more cheaters than usual.

Hackers and cheaters are quite common in games. They are especially a regular sight in FUT Champs, as every match, every result, and every scoreline matters, so many players take the shortcut and make life easier for themselves.

In the FUT Champions Finals, you play 15 matches. Your rank and rewards are then determined by the points you earn from those 15 games.

FC 26 users have been unhappy as they felt that they weren’t properly compensated for ranking up in the game’s ‘sweatiest mode’. Amid fan backlash, EA Sports updated the Champions rewards.

Now, if you manage to earn 15 victories during the weekend event, you’ll earn yourself a bunch of packs.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the prize also involves the 3×85+ TOTW Players pack. According to the popular leakster FUT Sheriff on X, there are only four 85+ rated players.

If you open the pack, you’ll be guaranteed at least one of FC Barcelona’s Putellas (92) or Real Madrid’s Bellingham (91), as cards cannot duplicate in the same pack.

In the past, players were only able to use current male footballers and retired legends. But with the release of EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team in 2023, EA introduced mixed gender squads. This meant the inclusion of both men and women professionals in the game.

Although there has been a lot of controversy over the stats and lack of realism behind women getting higher stats than men, Spanish superstar Alexia Putellas has become a firm fan favorite.

With a 92 overall, every FUT player is chasing the Putellas card. The weekend event is proof of how far people will go to get the elusive Putellas or Bellingham card.

The rat race to get all 15 wins has been inviting loads of hackers. Many genuine players who are trying their best to rack up wins inevitably end up against a cheater, and it completely ruins their streak.

Several users on X have made their unhappiness known with the number of hackers. One player even stated that he played 3 games and got a cheater in all 3 of them.

But don’t worry, all hope is not lost. Thankfully, there is a way you can avoid this issue. Here are the steps you need to follow –

  • First, head over to the Settings option
  • Then, go to Online Settings and select Matchmaking
  • Lastly, toggle Cross-Play
