Look: Chelsea Players Debut Futuristic Custom Nike Tracksuits

Chelsea, Football Fashion, Nike

Ahead of league leaders Arsenal’s visit to Stamford Bridge to face the reigning World Champions in a mouth-watering fixture, the Blues were visibly seen entering the stadium debuting a brand new tracksuit, custom-made by Nike for the players, which has left fans in awe.

What’s it called?

The tracksuit is an addition to Nike’s newly released collection called ‘Tech Boreas’, which was debuted on October 2, 2025. It features a heavy-duty fleece fabric that is engineered to stand up to different elements with Nike combining their signature ‘Therma-FIT’ technology to keep the wearer warm in challenging conditions. In addition to that, they’ve supplied the oversized hood with a built-in gaiter to provide a breathable way of face protection.

As if the design wasn’t already fashionable enough, Nike took it a step further by customising the outfit specifically for Chelsea. Having broken all ground rules for this special drop, the Chelsea themed hoodie features an unconventional asymmetrical zipper which runs down on the left side instead of the centre. The oversized design carries on to both the hoodie and the hood with the sleeves getting a revamped look with reflective patches engineered to give the outfit a futuristic design.

The relaxed baggy fit is accentuated by similar styled pants with a bell-bottomed edge, while also containing an unorthodox diagonal zipper. Both the hoodie and the pants are given the iconic ‘Chelsea Lion’ logo at the front which has the same reflective material as the sleeve.

The hoodie is completed by a massive reflective ‘Chelsea Lion’ logo at the back, while the t-shirt the players were wearing underneath had ‘Nike Tech’ and the Blues’ training-wear sponsor ‘BingX’ written on it.

Long-term absentee and star player Cole Palmer made his return to Stamford Bridge for the first time as a part of the matchday squad in this outfit which makes the tracksuit even more special.

Who designed the tracksuits?

From playing in PSG’s academy to a full-time fashion designer, Frenchman Maxime Touze, a lifelong Chelsea fan who lived across from Stamford Bridge had his dream come true on Sunday as the players, especially his and everyone’s favourite, Cole Palmer, entered SW6 wearing his designs.

Sitting in the stands at Stamford Bridge, during Chelsea’ historic comeback in the 2012 Champions League Quarter-Final against Napoli, was a young kid with a fashion vision who claims to have used the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence), which might come across as controversial, but the designer revealed that this decision was taken due to the naivete of the tool which lacks any cultural biases, allowing the Frenchman and his team to evolve their process.

Fans online are obsessed with the new Chelsea-exclusive tracksuit and are now scrambling to find out where they can get their hands on it.

Where can you buy the tracksuit?

The simple answer is, no, the official Chelsea themed ‘Tech Boreas’ tracksuits are not yet available on the Nike store or the Chelsea official megastore anywhere in the world. The current drop was for the players only and are not made available to buy for the public yet.

However, there is speculation that the full tracksuit, including the t-shirt, are set to drop sometime in 2026 as part of Nike’s new ‘Tech Fit’ collection which could also potentially feature other clubs like PSG, Barcelona and Inter Milan who are also sponsored by Nike.
