Old pillars are too difficult to leave, especially after serving the fans for 132 years.
The Goodison Park, home of Everton FootballCclub was set to be demolished after the 2024-25 season as the club’s decision to move to a larger capacity stadium to generate more matchday funds and the severity of the stadium’s age.
Everton adopted the Hill Dickinson Stadium as their new home from the 2025-26 season.
But the Goodison Park will not move out of memories.
The club’s initiative to sell the seats of season ticket holders and hospitality members has been appreciatively welcomed among the fans.
The seats are sold in two different materials, plastic seats and wooden seats each priced at 90 and 100 British Pounds respectively.
The seats are covered in a specially designed presentation box and also provides a certificate of authenticity,

The initial window for sale exclusively alloted for season ticket and hospitality members, was open from 10 am on May 9 till 11.59 pm on 26 May and after overwhelming orders, the reserved seats were sold out in minutes.
After careful deconstruction of stands and seats the club announced that the seat fulfilment process commenced on 17th November and the delivery would be spread across remainder of 2025 and January 2026.
Getting a seat of your own reservation from your dream club is a blessing not everone could afford.
Everton fans were very lucky with this and some of them are overjoyed by the auspicious present.

Ofcourse a seat without your number would not be worth the show off.
There were cases where a fan had received the seat with paints over the number and sudden fear of wooden seats getting painted spread across.
However the Everton Fan Services group, a special community based to support and take care of fan accessibility, had confirmed that the incident was a rare occurrence and the holder will be ensured a solution.

Repaying to the fans who are an important part of your history is the basic quality of a top club. Everton not only preserved their home in patches but also fulfilled the attachment every fan would have towards their club. Class act!

Fed up waiting for the seat, person I bought it for has since died, like my affection for Everton.
