A recent speculation around Tottenham’s third kit for the 26/27 season, has gained the support of Spurs fans on Twitter, as the return of Purple colour in Tottenham’s kit is considered to be a positive move.
Tottenham and Nike have continued working together since 2017 and have a deal extended till 2034. Earlier, a leaked news about on of their retro kits of the 26/27 season had drawn angry reactions. However, Nike have not missed out this time.
Nike have planned to bring in the Purple colour, with New Orchids and White accents. This marks the return of Purple in Tottenham kit history, since the 2011/12 season, where the away jersey for the season featured Purple and White.
Along with the third kit, Nike are in the process of releasing a special lifestyle kit, partly inspired from their third kit, with Purple as the primary colour. Addition to it, are stripes of New Orchid, running along vertically, with the logo, swoosh and the sponsor text in White.
While the return of purple on the third kit resonated with fans, design of the lifestyle jersey has received mixed reactions. A section of the fans appreciate the colour choice and some even justified it by bringing pictures from their history. However some fans are still not satisfied with the design, calling it equivalent to a pyjama.

Another set of pyjamas. Make the lighter purple the primary colour. Remove the stripes. Let go of the V neck
