Bruno Fernandes Has Better Things to Do Than Care About United Strand

Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United

Amidst all the chaos at Manchester United, if there has been one thing, a constant at the Old Trafford, it is Bruno Fernandes.

Fondly Called the “Portuguese Magnifico”, Bruno has solely carried United on his shoulders, ever since he arrived in 2020.

With 68 goals and 63 assists for the Red Devils, Bruno is already on the making of a club legend.

Even this season, with 18 goal contributions, Bruno sits alone on top of the assists chart of Premier League this season, as the only one reaching double figures in assists.

Yet there is much more about Bruno Fernandes apart from chance creation alone.

Bruno on the field exemplifies, professionalism, passion towards the club, and the mentality to win. There have been multiple instances where he had verbally or by action shown, how important it is for him to play for United.

When on the pitch in a game, Bruno, holding the responsibility of captain, constantly looks out for his teammates, helping them get better with their skills.

During their game against, Tottenham on Saturday, Bruno weaved a cross into the box, which United’s new striker, Benjamin Sesko headed straight into Spurs goalkeeper, Vicario.

Bruno was absolutely shocked that Sesko did not convert it and later got next to him instructing the nuances of the game.

In their intense 2-1 win over Chelsea early in the season, Bruno had been subbed off in the dying minutes of the game. Still, he kept motivating the players to hold on to the lead and stay focused, bringing his coaching instincts into play.

Off the field, Bruno displays his funnier side, often engaging in banter with his former and current teammates on Social Media and also providing funny captions through his posts.

When Man United Signed Mason Mount in 2023, Bruno shared a photo on his story, arguing with Mount during his chelsea days, with a caption “Why did you take so long to sign?”

Once, he jokingly apologized to the fans for a poor performance, which would have not helped the FPL players.

An addition to this funny side of Bruno was when he was interviewed about his opinion on the famous United fan Frank Illet aka TheUnitedStrand. When asked, whether it is time for him to book an hairdresser as United have won four in a row, he funnily replied

No, I need to book one for myself, but I dont care for others if they go to a hairdresser or not, Not important for me“.

United Strand, made a name for himself in the social media for invocating an unique trend, of growing hair until United win 5 games in a row. The disappointing performances during the Amorim Era, had pushed the narrative so big, that people started anticipating when he would cut the hair, as he managed to without a trim for more than a Year.

But despite one of the important players of the team, Bruno not being aware or showing any attention to the trend, showed how he manages his profile, not giving any eye to unnecessary topics that are negative to the Club.

Fans appreciated Bruno’s act, of not paying to an overrated gimmick.

Bruno not caring about the United Strand is in itself an example of how much he is motivated to bring Glory to Manchester United.
