Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at home to Burnley was deeply frustrating result for the Blues.
Joao Pedro slid home a fourth-minute opener, and the Blues controlled proceedings.
It should have been three points but Wesley Fofana picked up a second yellow card with 18 minutes remaining, reducing the home side to ten men.
Zian Flemming then headed in a Ward-Prowse corner in the 93rd minute to steal a point for the visitors.
Chelsea have now dropped 19 points from winning positions in the Premier League season with 17 of those at Stamford Bridge.
It was the second consecutive home draw against a newly-promoted side, following an identical capitulation against Leeds.
Rosenior did not hide from any of it after the full time whistle.
“We’ve set fire to four points from two home games,” he told reporters post-match. “It’s not good enough for a club of this level for me to come and say we were the better team. We need to win games.”
“A marking assignment wasn’t done. Flemming, we know, is their best header of the ball. There was a player we assigned that duty who marked the wrong player,” Rosenior protected the guilty individual as he always does.
So after all that, he went and found a quiet pub and sat with a pint on his own.
The image showed Rosenior seated thoughtfully in a cozy venue with a pint of beer (appearing to be a Prague brand) on the table beside his backpack.
This is the current Chelsea manager in 2026…absolutely ZERO aura. Pathetic pic.twitter.com/9Wc8HxoFNZ

But this time the usual mob mentality didn’t show up and people actually rallied around him –
@CFCindulger -Can’t have a pint in peace anymore Jesus Christ
@caseydogg2008 – I mean, he’s having a quiet beer by himself. What else is he supposed to be doing?
@Dankb1090 -Stayed in this hotel 20 times, as has every Chelsea manager over the past 15-20 years pre/post home games. Heaven forbid this man has a pint in peace.
@KayLFC05_ – He’s having a pint after work brother he doesn’t need to be looking his best at a pub
@Plastician – Anyone comfortable enough to have a pint on their own has more aura than somebody taking secret photos on their phone of people.
@TheoCartz – Do you know how many people go for a pint after work? What are we doing here?
@farranarrington – Male
Done a days graft
Wants a pint alone
I’ve been there
Nothing beats it
And , to cap it off.
Not a phone in his hand.
Watching the telly or the world go by.
@BIGviews101 – Look at you, SG the only perfect guy who somehow has a great day all 365 days of the year Your life must be absolutely perfect & flawless I bet if that was Pep, you clowns would be posting about how humble he is just for sitting around at the pub .
Part of the reason people were so warm about it is that Rosenior has had a rough ride online.
He has been nicknamed “LinkedIn Liam” because of the way he speaks in press conferences.
He got compared to David Brent from The Office after his ‘Man-Ageing’ philosophy went viral.
He even had a ball bounce off his foot during a match, and that clip spread everywhere immediately.
He has spoken about how the mocking affects his family more than it affects him.
His teenage kids see all of it on social media, and so do his parents.
He said he is not afraid to be himself, which takes guts when people online are constantly taking the mick.
But the pint photo hit differently as people saw a normal bloke having a hard day and dealing with it in the most relatable way possible.
What makes this story feel bigger is the context of who Rosenior is at Chelsea.
He is only 41, he came from Strasbourg, and he is not a famous name.
He has still managed seven wins from nine games and got Chelsea into the Champions League last 16. The problems he is dealing with were mostly already there when he arrived.
The mockery will return, of course. It always does. Chelsea face Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Manchester City in their next three league outings, with the FA Cup against Wrexham sandwiched in.
He has also said he knows he does not look or sound like a typical Premier League manager. That self-awareness is probably why fans connected with the pint photo so much.
Sometimes football gets a bit too serious about itself. A photo of a manager sitting alone with a beer reminded everyone that these are just people doing a very stressful job.
The internet was kind about it, and honestly, it was a nice moment.
