Mikel Arteta has never really looked like a manager who leaves details to chance.
Even his appearance fits the image.
The hair is fixed, the posture is upright, the stare is intense, and the wardrobe is usually as carefully assembled as one of his build-up patterns.
Dark knitwear, clean lines, sharp coats and, most famously, the turtleneck.
So when Arsenal’s lap of appreciation brought his family onto the Emirates Stadium pitch after the Burnley game, supporters were always going to notice the details.
Arteta was joined by his wife, Lorena Bernal, and their three sons, Gabriel, Daniel and Oliver.
Gabriel Arteta, Mikel’s eldest son, has already become a name fans recognise, partly because of his father and partly because he has started taking his own steps inside the Arsenal setup.
His recent involvement, making his debut with the club’s under-18s naturally sparked interest.
That attention is not always easy.
After Arsenal’s Premier League match against Burnley, he was spotted wearing a quarter zip turtleneck, standing alongside a father whose own turtlenecks have become part of Arsenal fan culture.

One fan said that Gabriel must have had Arteta pick his outfit.

Gabriel Arteta may still be at the start of his own journey, but as far as the family dress code is concerned, he already looks well coached.
