Getting to meet your favourite footballer is always a once-in-a-lifetime moment for fans, and it’s a moment they never forget. Something similar took place with the famous Belgian Influencer Celine Dept. 

Celine, after being a lifelong fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, finally got a chance to meet him, and the moment was heart-melting. She lost numerous chances to meet him before this meeting, such as after Portugal’s last game before the 2026 World Cup kicked off, but had ultimately failed. 

Thanks to destiny, she met her idol shortly after. 

Uploading the video to her socials, Celine shared her heartwarming meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo. She appeared to have broken into tears as he approached her, as any fan would after seeing the man himself. 

Ronaldo comforted her warmly with a hug and asked her to wipe her tears before the pair took a photo.

They exchanged a short conversation where Ronaldo appeared to comfort her and share a moment with her and Celine was just in awe of meeting her favourite footballer.

Fans are sure about CR7’s wife Georgina setting up their meet as she has followed and liked Celine’s post quite a lot of times. Georgina had also liked Celine’s post about almost meeting Ronaldo at their recent friendly game and also commented a heart on it.

After the meeting, Celine described Ronaldo’s personality as positive and friendly. She mentioned how he was so nice. Ronaldo wrote a personal message for her on the Portugal kit, stating best wishes. She happily mentions how she would frame the kit.

The meeting took place at Cicade de Futbol in Lisbon, where Portugal’s team trained for the World Cup.

But who is this famous influencer for whom Ronaldo took his time out?

Celine Dept is a famous Belgian influencer who used to be a footballer playing for Cecle Brugge before turning into a TikToker and influencer in 2019. In addition to content on social networks, in 2022, she launched a clothing line called CEMI and also debuted as an actress in the feature film called Rewind. Celine has currently amassed 7.3 million followers on Instagram and counting.

Fans reacted quite happily to the interaction, stating how she has been following Ronaldo for years and how she truly deserved meeting him more than anyone.
