Jorginho leads entire Italy squad in singing iconic Oasis number Wonderwall

Jorginho is quite the character: he is a dressing room favourite off the pitch and a vocal leader on the pitch for both club and country.

He has an evidently excellent relationship with his teammates at Chelsea, and it looks like it is more of the same while on international duty.

The Brazilian-born midfielder was spotted singing the iconic Oasis number Wonderwall along with the squad on his Instagram story, while he was on international duty with Italy.

Jorginho’s stint in West London with Chelsea has made him colloquial with the English culture and traditions over the course of two seasons.

The Chelsea vice-captain played the guitar as he sang the timeless classic with his national teammates while Leonardo Bonucci held the microphone for him.

A majority of the players joined in the chorus, some were busy filming the gig: while Giorgio Chiellini, simply, looked a little bewildered.

Manager Frank Lampard called him a natural leader last season, as he won his cynics from his first season over to his side, after a number of valiant and impressive displays last season for the club.

He is an excellent team player and it is evident that his showmanship in the dressing room brings the entire squad together for a cause, and helps with establishing bonding.

While there was speculation about him leaving in the summer for greener pastures, he will be staying at the London club to fight for his place in midfield.

Having started three out of four league games for Frank Lampard so far this season, Jorginho has donned the armband in the absence of club captain Cesar Azpilicueta and has scored three goals for Chelsea so far this season: all of them coming from the spot.

Lampard will be counting on the Italian to be one of the select few leaders alongside Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva to push his relatively young Chelsea squad to gel as a unit as quickly as they can, and contend for silverware too.
