Dutch giants Ajax are ready to take on Scottish Premiership champions Celtic Glasgow on July 24th in a friendly match that takes place in Italy.
Celtic come to this game having defeated Newcastle United with a 4-0 score, which was a very positive result for them in terms of preparations. On the other hand, Ajax defeated Greek side PAOK in a friendly with a 2-1 score back on July 16th.

Celtic Glasgow delivered a very strong performance last season in the Scottish Premiership, having won the competition with 92 league points. There is a strong sense within the Scottish giants that Brendan Rodgers and his men are capable of repeating this feat, although they are bound to be challenged by their historical rivals, Glasgow Rangers.
Ajax had a very complicated season last year, having lost the league at the eleventh hour and finishing in a bitter second place. Their performances in other competitions were mostly disappointing, getting eliminated in the round of 16 of both the KNVB Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
Therefore, this is a clash between two historical European teams that are in very opposite positions. This match, as mentioned earlier, takes place at Como, Italy, and is a knockout-style competition where these two teams will face either FC Como or Al-Ahli, depending on which team wins, since there is a final and a third place match
When it comes to where people can watch the games in the following countries, here is everything that fans need to know at the moment.
USA AND CANADA
I'm always happy to post this clip of Celtic dismantling Ajax in Amsterdam. That Celtic side was excellent & they really rose to the occasion that night… pic.twitter.com/IQuEHBqKtf

Both countries have had a steady growth in football, which can be seen both in their leagues and the performances of their national teams throughout the years. For example, Canada had a very solid performance in the 2024 Copa America, reaching the semifinals and losing to eventual winners and current World Cup champions Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, which is not surprising and is in no way a shame.
This has also included teams such as Ajax and Celtic slowly gaining new fans in those nations. However, there is no network or streaming platform that is going to show the match for the people living there.
Ajax v Celtic will kick off at 2:30 pm ET, which equates to 1:30 pm Central Time, 12:30 pm Mountain Time, and 11:30 am Pacific Time according to time zones across the continent.

On the other hand, the people who are currently interested in watching the match and are living in the UK and Ireland can head to Celtic TV. However, it is worth pointing out that people are going to have to subscribe to the service in order to watch the game live at YouTube.
The action from Como kicks off at 7:30 pm BST. There is also the fact that the coverage from Celtic TV begins at 6:30 PM BST.
This is a major friendly between two of Europe’s oldest and most decorated teams in the history of the game. Therefore, it is going to be a very interesting event to watch this preseason.
