EA released the 88 Max Icon SBC (Squad Building Challenge) for FC 26 Ultimate Team on Sunday, replacing the 87-rated version. The new Max 88 Base Upgrade Icon SBC will allow you to earn a guaranteed legend for your Ultimate Team squad.

Featuring the likes of Gareth Bale, Rio Ferdinand, Patrick Vieira, and Lilian Thuram, this is one of the most exciting gambles SBCs in the game yet.

The pack is headlined by former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale. Renowned for being one of the best wingers of his era with 185 goals and 137 assists, Bale’s card will be lightning quick and super strong.

The inclusion of World Cup winner Lilian Thuram and 6x Premier League winner Rio Ferdinand is tipped to change the meta of the game.

EA Sports adding the 88-rated base icon cards for the first time has certainly improved the probability of obtaining one of the better-rated icons. With that said, there are a total of 51 cards, with 22 of them below 190k and 29 cards above 190k.
