Who doesn’t love new kits? The commencement of new seasons always brings new football kits that fans can purchase and show their undying love and support for their favorite football club.
Although the 2025-26 season has barely reached the halfway mark, we’ve already started getting rumors and leaks on next season’s jerseys.
The latest kit to be leaked is the Bayern Munich home kit for 2026-27.
While the 2025-26 away and third kits were smashing successes, the reception for the 2025-26 home kit was mixed, to put it lightly. In a never-before-seen look, this one features a giant white, fading M white, in a soundwave design.
Adidas, the long-term kit manufacturer of Bayern (since 1974), tried to make the kit stand out with the design and get people talking. Whether they accomplished the former or not is subjective, but they certainly did achieve the latter, as this design has divided opinions.
With that said, Adidas has certainly taken the critique under consideration and returned to the basics and the leaked kit for the next season looks CLEANNNNN! The new kit has received largely positive reviews as fans are overjoyed at the prospect of being able to purchase a good-looking Bayern home kit after a couple of disappointing years.
Maintaining the traditional red base, the upcoming kit will feature darker tonal pinstripes running down the shirt.
From the leaked images, these stripes help add depth and texture to the shirt without straying away from Bayern Munich’s instantly recognizable identity.
Moreover, the kit also features golden details on the collar and sleeve cuffs. Interestingly, this will be the first time that a Bayern kit has golden details since 2011-12. During those days, even the Adidas logo, the Bayern Munich crest, and the sponsor were all in gold.

The official launch date for the Adidas Bayern Munich 2026-27 home football jersey is scheduled for May 2026, ahead of Bayern’s last 2025-26 home match.
Currently seated comfortably at the top of the table, Bayern Munich will be hoping to have secured the league title by then to give their fans something to celebrate aside from the launch of the new kit.
