Bayern Munich‘s Wonderkid, 17-year old Lennart Karl, has turned everybody’s eyes towards him with impressive performances above par for his age.

The left footed right winger, at 1.68m tall, glues balls to his feet, dribbles past players with ease and his movements remind people of a similar player, who Lennart Karl has revealed to be his inspiration.

Not so long ago, Lennart Karl revealed that Real Madrid is his dream club and he would, at some point of time in his career, want to play for the Royal Whites.

““Bayern is a very big club. It’s a dream to play there, but one day I want to go to Real Madrid. That’s my dream club — but this stays between us.”.

But Karl was not aware of the consequences it would cause, having said that in a special Bayern fans meet event.

The reactions from Bayern fans was of furious nature and they went all out in attacking Karl’s statement. However, a clarification was made on behalf of the 17-year old and he had apologised to everybody around involved.

With Real Madrid fans excited about the potential possibility of Karl playing for them, a picture of his shin pad had put a cloud of confusion.

Karl’s shinpad feature Lionel Messi, considered as the Goat of football and a very familiar foe of Real Madrid.

The shinpad had the iconic shirtless celebration, Messi did against Madrid at Bernabeu in the 2017 Elclasico.

It also had a caption “Learning from the best”.

This has opened doors for Culers, giving them a reason to celebrate Karl, but also having an edge over the real madrid fans

Fans have jokingly brought in a comparison between Garnacho and Karl.

Alejandro Garnacho is Argentine, contrastingly a Ronaldo fan. In general convention it is expected that every Argentine is a fan of Messi in the goat debate, but Garnacho, despite playing for Argentina, openly admitted his fanboyism for Ronaldo and even replicates his celebrations.

Karl might have created a club version of it by idolising Messi and dreaming a move to Real Madrid.

Lennart Karl had previously attended a trial at the Real Madrid Academy, soon before turning 10 years but could not make it through.

Now although, if he could go back to his dream club as a professional, Madridistas might have just got their version of Messi.
