It is often said that humor among teammates is a sign of strong camaraderie and connection.
If that is the case, then the Portugal National Team can take boost from a recent online interaction between key squad players ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Since joining Manchester City in 2017, Bernardo Silva has raked up 6 Premier League titles, five League Cups, two FA Cups, a Champions League to go with two FIFA Club World Cups as well.
As a result of such a stellar run at the top level of football, the midfielder has built up quite a brand name for himself as well and added a new sponsorship to the list.
Recently, the 31-year-old joined hands with cosmetic brand La Roche-Posay to promote skincare products through his Instagram.
In a video posted by the player, he is gearing up for a game before being asked how it feels to be in his shoes dealing with cold, sun, dirt, and wind? To which he answers, “Ask La Roche-Posay.”
What became a topic of delight, however, for many was the interaction between him and national teammates.
A collection of Portuguese players took time to enjoy themselves and throw a quick banter around the post.
Bernardo is often on the receiving end of questionable behavior from his Man City teammates.

Silva once again became the subject of roast by his colleagues.
Replying to the post, Ruben Dias commented, ‘you’ve never used a little cream’
Both professionals have now played together at City for more than 5 years now and even longer than that for Portugal as well.
After reading this comment, even Matheus Nunes could not contain his laughter too, chimed in with a few laughing emojis of his own.
It wasn’t only the City players who joined in the fun, Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes also replied to the post. He wrote, “You don’t even use toothpaste.“
Former Chelsea player Joao Felix also came up with a few words, writing, ‘You don’t even use deodorant.’

It seems the timid midfielder is now the butt of jokes in Portugal camp as well. The only question is when will the bullying end for Bernardo Silva!
