Marcelo Bielsa goes out of his way to meet a disabled Leeds United supporter outside Pride Park Stadium

Marcelo Bielsa has been the mastermind in leading Leeds United back to the Premier League. Thanks to that man, the Leeds faithful now have a double reason to celebrate with a Championship trophy to show for along with the promotion to the top-flight.

The appointment of the renowned Argentine coach completely changed the atmosphere around the club. What once seemed like an elusive dream became a reality for the club with Bielsa at the helm.

With a 16-year exile from the first division finally coming to an end, it’s a shame that the Whites faithful aren’t able to carry out large-scale celebrations on this momentous occasion due to the ongoing pandemic.

However, the fans cannot be stopped from cheering and expressing their gratitude towards the club. Following West Brom’s loss last week, several fans gathered around Marcelo Bielsa’s house to celebrate. The 64-year-old took the time to greet every fan out there celebrating.

Yesterday’s win against rivals Derby County brought a similarly wholesome sight with a group of Leeds fans gathered around the Pride Park Stadium. One of the individuals waiting was a disabled Leeds United supporter, eagerly anticipating to meet Bielsa.

The Leeds boss quickly jumped out of his car and went straight to greet the disabled fan and also clicked a picture with her. An associated clip has gone viral among the Leeds faithful online, as fans were left brimming with emotions over this heartfelt gesture from the Argentine coach.
