Ajax fans gathered in numbers and produced an incredible farewell experience for Donny van de Beek last night.
The midfielder joined English giants Manchester United in a £40 million deal to become the first signing of the summer at Old Trafford.
A product of Ajax’s youth system, the 23-year-old has always shared a special connection with the Ajax fans and was especially revered for his performances during their incredible Champions League run in 2019.
Ajax fans showed how much they love Donny with a goosebumps-inducing farewell after the Nations League match between Netherlands and Italy.

It was a different story for Donny van de Beek on the pitch though as the Man United new boy was hauled off before the hour mark in Netherlands’ 1-0 defeat against Italy.
