All this constant speculation surrounding Jadon Sancho’s proposed transfer to Manchester United has started to take its toll on the fans and former players alike.
The transfer saga has now dragged on for an incredibly long period of time but it seems the end is near.
Courtesy of some eagle-eyed fans on Twitter, it appears that Manchester United assistant manager Mike Phelan has started following Jadon Sancho on Instagram tonight.
Yes, we have now moved on to a stage where it’s not just the players but the coaching staff as well who drop subtle hints of a transfer on Instagram.
If that wasn’t enough as an indication of the transfer being done, sports journalist for The Sunday Times Duncan Castles also confirmed that Man United have a deal in place to sign Jadon Sancho.
While speaking on his podcast The Transfer Window, Castles said the delay in the deal is because of the bonus loyalty payments in Sancho’s contract at Dortmund.
