As the camera panned towards Jurgen Klopp at full time, the Liverpool boss just couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief after coming up against newbies Leeds United in the first match of the new Premier League season.
The German could be clearly seen saying ‘wow’ as Liverpool won 4-3 at Anfield against a defiant Leeds United.
Not many teams can go to Anfield and put up a fight like Leeds United did.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side went toe-to-toe with the champions and it needed an 88th penalty from Mo Salah to get all 3 points for Liverpool.
Leeds United definitely earned Jurgen Klopp’s respect and perhaps many Liverpool fans too.
