Remember the name
Jamal Musiala grabbed the headlines with his sensational run as Bayern Munich won 3-0 in their DFB Pokal fixture against Duren Merzenich.
The 17-year-old has already notched up 3 appearances in the Bundesliga this season and also scored a goal in the 8-0 drubbing of Schalke back in September.
Another fine Chelsea academy product, Jamal Musiala has started to show his class at the Bavarian outfit.
The England U17 international spent 9 years at Chelsea before the German giants came in for him last year.
The teenager has since then paid back handsomely for the faith shown by the hierarchy at the best football club in the world right now.
Duren v Bayern
Musiala started the cup game against Duren as 9 players made their competitive debut for Bayern last night.
A new-look Bayern side provided full debuts for new signings Alexander Nübel, Bouna Sarr, Marc Roca and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting while Jamal Musiala made his starting debut
Jamal Musiala completed attempted 8 & completed 5 dribbles and was generally a thorn for the side from Oberliga (5th tier of German football).
His run in the 64th minute of the game has now gone viral among football fans as Musiala went past 3 players in a confined space inside the Duren box.

Jamal Musiala (03) has featured in 5 of 6 Bayern games so far this season. Just almost scored the goal of the season. Beat three Duren defenders, one by one, in five yards of space in the area. Ridiculous manipulation of the ball + change of direction off either foot.— Rowd (@RowdenJRSG) October 15, 2020
