Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo recently became the first person to hit the milestone of 400m followers on his Instagram account.
The Portuguese forward is by far the most followed on Instagram and he’s fairly active on the platform as well.
He frequently posts and goes live on the platform, mostly celebrating an occasion or giving fans a glimpse of his lavish lifestyle.
The most recent instance, however, was unsettling to a certain degree or just plain confusing.
Ronaldo decided to hop on an Insta live while sitting in an eerily quiet and dark room (probably a sauna).
He was also shirtless (of course), his body language and facial expressions had a general air of dejection about them, something which a lot of fans seemed to notice as well.
Almost throughout the entire duration of the clip, Ronaldo refused to crack a smile even once before popping out a cheeky one right near the end.
Nonetheless, the dejected look on his face did lead to some fans speculating that recent results have taken a toll on him.
After all the live stream comes after his lacklustre showings against Middlesbrough and Burnley. In the game against Burnley, Ronaldo looked to be the most disappointed as he stormed off the pitch right as the final whistle rang.
Whatever the reason may be, the clip certainly created a slew of confusion on Twitter.
Even his former teammate Rio Ferdinand was puzzled.
The former United defender spectated the live stream himself and even commented “what you doing bro” alongside some laughing emojis.
