FC Barcelona‘s youth academy, La Masia, really seems to have a penchant for producing some truly quality midfielders.
The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta, Xavi were all products of the famed academy and their latest crop of incredible talent isn’t too shabby either.
A few young names to have emerged recently include Pedri, Gavi, Riqui Puig etc, and under manager Xavi, Barca’s young midfielder has been running the show.
Their scintillating run of form as of late continued with a 4-0 victory yesterday against Athletic Club. The midfield once again starred and at its heart were the pair of Gavi and Pedri.
Pedri in particular was a joy to watch on the night, he even produced an amazing nutmeg in the 79th minute on Mikel Balenziaga, which drew amazed reactions from the crowd at Camp Nou.
And as the broadcast panned over to show the amazed audience, fans quickly noticed one young fan, who shared an uncanny resemblance to Gavi.
As seen in the picture, the young Culer can barely contain his joy after the sublime skill, and closed inspection of his appearance does confirm the theory of him being a Gavi lookalike.
Doppelgangers are very rare in general, finding one at a football venue is even rarer, yet users online have managed the feat. And we’re sure some will be hoping that aside from appearance, the young fan also shares Gavi’s talents.
