Ahead of Manchester City’s highly awaited clash against Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, Bayern star Leroy Sane is in the spotlight once again. All eyes will be on the German winger when the Bavarians travel to the Etihad in the first leg of the tie.
The obvious reason for Sane to be the talk of the fixture is his past with Manchester City.
The Bayern number 10 was a crucial part of Pep’s City for four years between 2016 and 2020. He appeared in 132 games for the Cityzens, netting 39 goals before moving back to his home country to be a part of German giants Bayern Munich.

Having previously been involved in a well-known controversy with Riyad Mahrez’s ex-wife Rita Johal, Candice deleted all her socials in 2021 and hasn’t appeared under much public limelight since.
However, leading up to the much-awaited UCL quarter-final fixture between Sane’s former and current club, a section of fans are eagerly awaiting to find out Brook’s allegiances.
Candice actually has been in a vocal Cityzen for a very long time. The American WAG is an avid supporter of Manchester City and has often been seen celebrating her club’s victories on social media.

This seemed perfect in the past when Brook’s boyfriend Leroy Sane was a part of the City squad till 2020, but the German has changed clubs since, making the dynamics of his relationship highly interesting.
People haven’t shied away from asking Candice questions about the club of her dreams, and Candice has made it known that she’s still a Cityzen and she will be one in the future as well, irrespective of the football club her partner represents.
She also made it known that she was against Sane’s move to Germany and rather preferred him to stay in England.
