Vinicius Jr Spotted Vibing Over Drake Before Infamous ‘Curse’ Strikes on Real Madrid Frontman

The camaraderie and vibes were at an all-time high in Real Madrid’s camp as they 14-time UCL champions as they prepared for their pre-season friendlies against Catalan giants FC Barcelona at the At&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

A video surfaced of defender David Alaba and winger Vinicius Jr vibing to some Drizzy Drake as they were chilling in the dressing room.

The video saw the pair singing out the viral lyrics of the Drake and 21 Savage song Rich Flex, wherein Alaba sings the Line “21” and Vinicius replies with “Can you do some for me” and as he turns his eyes to Alaba, he notices the Austrian recording him, ending with both bursting out in laughter. This incident really showcases the “power of friendship FC ” that the club are notoriously called.

Vinicius recently even linked up with the Canadian rapper and a photograph surfaced where Vinicius gifts a signed jersey to Drizzy.

The rapper however is infamous in footballing circles due to the phenomenon known as the “Drake Curse” which entails the rapper meeting or clicking a photograph with a player, and his team losing a crucial game or the player dropping a stinker of a performance.

History repeated itself and Vinicius was quite well “struck” with the curse, with the Brazilian having one of the unluckiest games of all time against archrivals, Barcelona.

Vinicius played quite well but failed to find the back of the net as he struck the crossbar thrice which also includes a penalty which he failed to convert.

Barcelona ended up winning the game 3-0 thanks to goals from Dembele, Fermin Lopez and Ferran Torres.

While this may prove to be nothing as it was at the end of the day, a friendly, I for one would warn players to think twice before posting Drake songs on their socials or even meeting the man.
